Statewide General Body Meeting Schedule Announced!
The Chair of the DFL Progressive Caucus has called the following meeting dates for the statewide Governing Body
(4th Tuesday of every other month): March 25, May 27, July 22, September 23, and November 25. Locations will be announced later, with the intent to circulate to the local chapter locations throughout the state for some of these meetings.
So what next? The DFL PC will continue to reach out to progressives, inviting them to join the DFL Party and make a difference. In 2004, a record number of Minnesotans attended their precinct caucus for the first time because many of us were alarmed about the direction the country was going in, especially when it came to Iraq. The DFL Progressive Caucus committed itself to building on those numbers by bringing progressives into the process. More than 212,079 Minnesotans attended the DFL precinct caucuses on February 5, 2008.
